Bobby’s journey is woven with moments that honor her Inupiaq heritage and also carry her work into new spaces. Below are just a few of the milestones she’s achieved, each one a stitch in the story she’s still sewing.
Showed Arctic Luxe designs at New York Fashion Week, blending Inupiaq parkas with runway visibility. Featured in Alaska Magazine; designs seen on television sets and the Emmy Awards red carpet. Presented in Indigenous fashion festivals including Indigenous Fashion Arts & Adaka Festival. Trained in skin sewing at Iḷisaġvik College; teaches traditional sewing to younger makers. Founded Arctic Luxe (formerly Bobby Itta Designs); creates both bespoke and ready-to-wear pieces with cultural integrity.
